My wife and I visited Jönköping this weekend and could of course not miss a visit to the museum and there many old amazing machines from the time when the factory was in full action. This is just a small collection of photos. We have been here many times before, but always nice to see again.

Jönköpings Tändsticksfabriks AB (Jönköping Match factory), based in Jönköping, was founded in 1857 by a merger of the brothers Lundström´s match factory, founded in 1845, with five other leading match factories. The company was acquired by Ivar Kreuger 1917 in connection with the founding of Svenska Tändsticks Aktiebolaget (STAB), which is the origin of today´s Swedish Match AB.
