First Projects, Sn2 scale
This article was published May 17, 2012.
For a while I tryed some scratbuilding in Sn2 (1:64) with Berliner TT locos as a start. Berliner TT was a (at the time) east german manufactor, which made 1:120 scale trains on 12mm gauge tracks.
1:57 scale
At first I made the brigade loco and tender in 1:57 for HOn3 tracks, but later changed the idea to S-scale (1:64). Why I choose Bemo 12mm tracks is hidden in history... can´t remember, had great fun anyway.
As you see, german WW1 feldbahn brigade D-class locos is an old love.. This was done around 1982. Complete brass and solder. Back then I had no torch, so this is done using an ordinary hot iron.
Pict6719 -- The Tender alone. This was as importent as the loco, still today I have a great desire to build this again, but in H-scale for BMC. This May, I got some new plans from a internet-friend in Germany, so the possibilities are better then ever..
