YR - Avesta part 4

Here comes third print. This time I did the following :

  • Added one whole millimetre inside all walls, both cab and inside the boiler.
  • Added a grid kind of skeleton inside the boiler.
  • Added back the original floor in the cab.
  • Changed to strongest type of supports in the slicer program.
  • Airbrushed it (which maybe was a mistake, at least this early).

It seemed to work, not one tiny tendency to warp after now four hours! BUT, was it the paint or the extra bracing ? To know know for sure I did print also the Deutz GZ30B mining loco once more, this time in 1/35 scale, with no paint on. It also stayed straight, no warping. So, in special cases, this resin is OK if enough material and bracing/supports can be used.
