Mil - Haubits, part 1

Started with a Haubitz from 1775 this evening. This is not really a "Carolean" cannon, since King Charles the XII died in 1718 and his army´s setup lasted until about 1750, so this is after that.

So far wheels is done and the carriage is coming along. The barrel here is only for measurements. Last pic shows one of the wheels (blue) from the haubitz beside the 3-pounder cannon wheels (gray) I did before. Not only wheels are bigger, the hole carriage is also about 30cm longer. The photo shows the real deal which I did photograph and measure-up this summer at the swedish artillery museum in Karlskrona.
