Yesterday my wife and I did a big day tour, driving around looking at places. Below shows the (somewhat) railway related, as inspiration for my new layout to be.
Ramnäs Bruk makes big chains for oil rigs and oil tankers. Back in time they did all kinds of chains, but today only this niche remains. This the old workshop remains as a museum, the new modern factory is just a few blocks away. What interest me is this just marvelous design they did back then. I might use part of this design for my match factory on my layout.
