Tools - Photon Test Result

Always easy to be wise right after....

First calibration test made me chasing around and only loose time ... If I known then what I know now, I should go for the second test right away, and also what I will do next time I change type of resin.

First print one ´town´ just as recommended and one above, and one below in exposure time. Those three is enough to find exact time needed.

The one in the front center is printed with the recommended 11 sec exposure for Elegoo Gray (ABS-like version). The one to the left is 9.5 sec. All the rest is just ghost chase for no reason .. I will do no more test, instead I just started a "regular" print with Hans Hammarstens latest designs of 0n18 bogies with wheels. Exposure set to 10.25, inbetween the two best from this weekend.

Only clue for my previous bad results is that I maybe did not shake the bottle well enough, or something else on previous attempts. On both 11 and 9.5 versions from today I can clearly see the logo and the super tiny text on the prints, that sharp results I never had before ... Another thing, I see no point at all printing with layer height below 0.05mm. I did choose 0.05 to speed up the process, but can´t really see any difference if I didn´t know which print is which. After paint I doubt no one can see. Much more important is correct exposure and how you angle your model during print.
