90mm - Double-decker, shelf 2 of 3

All measures are in centimeters. The lumber I am using is 2*4 and for heavy duty 2*7.

Under this the second shelf there is a radiator so only about half could be used for storage. From the floor and up, first 3 banana boxes in height for storage, then first layer there the LGB trains will go and on top of that, the second level for 90mm (1/18 ) scale trains.

IMAG1396 -- this is the basic frame I am building. As you can see it is self-supporting, I can even move it to another wall if I want to, no holes in the wall needed here.

IMAG1419 -- extra small pieces on the back is for fastening the background to. Note there is an air pocket between the wall and background for both ordinary circulation and in this case for the radiator

IMAG1443 -- each shelf is 50*360cm w room for two 60*175cm layout sections

IMAG1611 -- same construction holding up the roof on this the second shelf

IMAG1666 -- each layout section will be loose to take down for maintenance or future replace

IMAG1685 -- all sides and roofs have cross supports on the back, hopefully avoiding future warping due to moisture or heat. Here I am glueing them in place, hence the weights on top
