Mil - Face painting in 75mm, step 2

Face painting isn´t easy .. period   I realize that I evolved in keeping the brush still and getting the paint there I want it, but I have huge steps to go in colour mixing and by all, getting the right consistency. This is my first attempt ever at face painting. Dotting a round circle in the iris in 1/24 scale takes some time to master .. (I am not there yet..)

All videos I watched recommended to keep a milky kind of consistency but when I tried that the paint started flowing, specially in the eyes. I lost count on how many times I did redo them from start. Also an iris should not be 100% black, if so it sticks out to much. Better with a dark blue or green. Same with the white area of the eyes, they should not be a lime white colour, but a bit toned down. The mustache got to brown-isch, it was intended to be just "dark" ..

Fun project but very demanding on the patience department .. ! I find my first result acceptable, considering.

To be continued.
