Mil - The Kings Cannon - Painted

The 1816 swedish field cannon is done and painted.
Had some odd experiences with matt varnish this time. Last 1:20 figures got really shiny from "supposed" matt colours, so I tried Vallejo Matt varnish on one of them. It got even MORE shiny than the other which had no "matt varnish". Surfing around I found out I was not the only one experiencing this. One guy on the tube recommended Winsor & Newton Matt Varnish (last pic below). It really came out truly matt after that treatment. You need to use it outdoors or in a spray-booth, cause it smells terrible.. Below on the picture with only two gunners, the left one had Winsor & Newton on it. Even with a bit shine from my lamps, the difference is very evident.
The bronze colour from Vallejo which I used on the barrels is very "glittery" on the surface. Don´t think even polished bronze has that look .. Tried Winsor & Newton on those to, but did not make much difference. They got less shiny of course, but the glittery effect remains.
The carriage for the 1863 cannon sadly was damaged during print, a new is printed but needs wash and cure before I can start assemble that.
After this I have original 1810´isch plans for 2-3 artillery wagons, which was part of the campaign or the supply train following, but more than that is written in the future.
